Programme Support Intern

Overview

Support the WBA programme team with public advocacy, research, programme coordination, events management, and content development for social media platforms.

Tasks Summary

• Support regional programme implementation and tracking of key deliverables.
• Contribute to drafting meeting reports and concept notes.
• Coordinate meetings, workshops, webinars, and consultations.
• Assist in research and monitoring of LGBTI+ inclusion and rights issues.
• Create programme content, human interest stories, and develop programme briefs.
• Monitor current events for engagement opportunities.
• Facilitate knowledge building and dissemination of products.
• Assist with day-to-day programme activities, partner support, and event preparation.

Experience Requirements

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree

Other Details

Languages Required: • English

Languages Preferred: • Knowledge of other UN languages is an advantage.

Contract Duration: 6 months

Remuneration: • UNDP internships are not remunerated. • All expenses connected with the internship will be borne by the intern or her/his sponsoring entity.
