Overview
The UNV Procurement Associate will support the procurement team by processing e-requisitions, managing procurement processes, and preparing necessary documentation for goods and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Register agencies procurement requests and support procurement team to initiate procurement by processing e-requisition in Quantum; cost recovery of UNDP’s services to agencies, keep track of procurement processes including delivery of goods and services, acceptance by agency and payment.
- Assist to submit the payment request in oracle system and ensure the proper and timely documentation of the supporting documents.
- Assist in organization of procurement processes including preparation and conduct of RFQs, ITBs or RFPs, receipt of quotations, bids or proposals, their evaluation, negotiation of certain conditions of contracts in full compliance with UNDP rules and regulations.
- Preparation of Purchase orders, contracts and Agreements in Quantum, preparation of Recurring Purchase orders for contracting of services, facilitate Suppliers profile creation and upgrading in Quantum.
- Preparation of submissions to the Contract, Asset and Procurement Committee (CAP) and Advisory Committee on Procurement (ACP) as required.
- Assist to communicate and provide the information as and when required to support in providing client-oriented services; Any other related tasks as may be required or assigned by the supervisor.
Required Experience
At least 3 years of professional work experience in independently handling high volume public procurements; experience of working in the UN or other international development organization is an asset.

Bachelor's degree in management or equivalent
