Technical Specialist for Inclusive Market Systems Development for MAP2

Overview

The Prevention Officer is responsible for the day-to-day implementation of GBV prevention activities, community mobilization, and awareness campaigns.

Tasks Summary

• Oversee and ensure of Peoples Corner operations and service delivery to the GBV vulnerable according to Project design documents.
• Implement approaches /model/tools of Peoples Corner/Male Engagement that contribute to competency development and integration of advocacy which contribute to positive changes among people’s behaviour towards ending Gender Base violence and Sub Sector policies and practices.
• To ensure implementation of activities according to DIP, Budget & Activities Narrative.
• To Support in the response program to achieve the organizational vision, mission and program objectives.
• To implement GBV prevention activities in the field level in coordination with other GBV officers and in consultation with the GBV manager/Project Manager
• To ensure timely and proper implementation of prevention activities
• To write up activity reports upon completion of every activity.

Experience Requirements

At least 3 years relevant work experience especially Under JPF Funded Project. World Vision experience is prefereble.

Qualification Requirements

Bachelor’s degree preferably in any discipline preferably in Social science/Social welfare/Psychology/Anthropology/Law/Gender studies. Post graduate degree

Other Details

Languages Required: Good command in English & Bengali, both written and verbal.

Languages Preferred: Chittagong/Rohingya language skills will be taken into consideration.

Contract Duration: 6‑month contractual position, with the possibility of extension subject to donor approval.

Work Modality: On-site (office-based)
