The Finance Officer is responsible for administering and executing financial transactions and processes, applying knowledge of organizational goals and procedures. When supervising staff, the role involves planning, guiding work, and reviewing completed work for accuracy and compliance.
A first level university degree in accounting, financial management or another related financial field is required. Supplemental formal financial / accounting training may be accepted if university degree is not in a related financial field. Diploma qualification in CIPFA is acceptable in lieu of relevant university degree, or its equivalent.
Languages Required: Fluency in English is required.
Languages Preferred: Knowledge of a local language is an asset.
