The Health Specialist plays a central role in strengthening community-based primary health care through the Community Health Delivery Partnership (CHDP). This role drives a global effort to connect countries and partners to accelerate investments in community health and expand access to essential services.
A minimum of 8 (eight) years of professional work experience at the national and/or international levels in community/primary health care, health planning, programming, implementation monitoring and evaluation of health programmes relevant to child survival, thrive and transform agenda is required, and any other related fields. Experience in Partnership Coordination, Health Programmes, Technical Advisory, Programme Implementation, Community Health Care, Primary Health Care. Strong advocacy and communication skills are required.
Master or equivalent (Advanced University Degree) in Health Administration, Public Health, Epidemiology, Social Science, Global Health, Social Policy, Social Development, Community Development, Health Promotion, Public Health Planning and any other related fields.
