Overview
Provide guidance on data governance, standards, and interoperability for digital health solutions and artificial intelligence. Respond to data and digital intervention requests and provide policy and implementation support for health information systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide guidance on data governance, standards and interoperability on evidence-based digital health solutions and artificial intelligence.
- Respond to internal and external requests related to country-specific data and digital interventions.
- Provide policy and implementation support for the development of strong integrated and robust Health information systems.
- Provide technical assistance and facilitate inter-programmatic support in data systems, digital health and artificial intelligence.
- Develop and implement innovative ways for communicating and disseminating data-based information.
- Serve as liaison for technical questions related to initiatives supported by the Health Systems Team.
- Build effective partnerships and coordinate across governmental and non-governmental organizations for investment in and use of digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and data eco-systems.
- Guide and assist in building national institutional capacities for improved digital health literacy, digital health interventions, communication strategies, dissemination of materials and information.
- Promote the implementation and use of WHO global digital goods, tools, standards and guidelines on digital health implementation.
- Assist in the implementation of digital health literacy initiatives.
- Promote and support meetings, webinars and workshops that facilitate knowledge sharing.
- Perform other related duties, as assigned.
Required Experience
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in the implementation of digital health, artificial intelligence and /or health information systems.
- Desirable: Monitoring and evaluating of health interventions.
- Desirable: Working experience with the UN agency, other multi- or bilateral development agencies or an international non-governmental organization in the area of digital transformation.
Qualifications
- Essential: University degree in health sciences or public health with focus on digital health, computer sciences, information management in public health, business/management economics or a related field.
- Desirable: Advanced qualification in public health informatics, health management information systems, digital health technologies and innovations, health systems.
