Overview

The role involves testing and supporting a Digital Knowledge Management System for monitoring, evaluation, and knowledge management of FAO programmes in the Asia and Pacific region.


Key Responsibilities
  • Review KMS design, structure and features.
  • Develop a written and PPT overview of the system.
  • Support the design and execution of a country rollout strategy for the KMS.
  • Engage with country office and project staff to support onboarding.
  • Support users to onboard projects in different environments.
  • Support access management setup.
  • Review and provide inputs to project setup, report setup, budget setup and other project configurational settings.
  • Identify user and system issues and suggest system changes.
  • Maintain project rollout plans for countries.
  • Other activities as required.
Required Experience
  • At least 1 year for Category C, 5 years for Category B, and 10 years for Category A of relevant experience in digital system implementation, system testing, user support, access management, or knowledge/data management systems.
  • Proven experience in system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and rollout planning across different environments.
  • Experience in configuring and supporting digital platforms, including project setup, report setup, budget configuration, and user access management.
  • Strong understanding of data management systems, dashboards, reporting tools, and indicator-based frameworks.
  • Experience supporting multi-country or regional digital system deployments is highly desirable.
  • Ability to coordinate with technical teams, project managers, and country offices.
  • Experience maintaining documentation, rollout plans, and tracking tools.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams in multicultural and international environments.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting system rollout across multiple offices, projects, or countries.
  • Working knowledge of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) systems, results frameworks, or programme reporting systems is an asset.
Qualifications

University degree from an institution recognized by the International Association of Universities (IAU)/UNESCO in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Management, Knowledge Management, Monitoring & Evaluation, or a related field.

Languages Preferred
Knowledge of Chinese, French, Spanish, Arabic or Russian is seen as an asset.
