Overview
The Programme Associate will support the development, implementation, and monitoring of UNICEF's programmes by providing specialized programme and administrative support. The role aims to ensure smooth delivery, strong coordination, and compliance with organizational standards, driving evidence-based decision-making through data analysis, budget tracking, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized programme and administrative support.
- Work closely with programme teams, operations, finance, supply and external partners.
- Ensure smooth delivery, strong coordination and compliance with organizational standards.
- Drive evidence-based decision-making through data analysis, budget tracking and high-quality reporting.
- Contribute across core areas: Project Management & Implementing Partnership Coordination, Data Management, Analysis & Reporting, Grant Management, Budget Monitoring & Reporting, Digital Innovation & Operational Efficiency, Communication & Knowledge Sharing, and Capacity Building & Event Coordination.
- Support flexibility and surge needs, ensuring continuity during shifting priorities or emergency responses.
- Strengthen programme performance and operational excellence through proactive support and sound judgment.
Required Experience
- A minimum of six years of administrative or clerical work experience is required.
- Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
Qualifications
Completion of secondary education is required, preferably supplemented by technical or university courses related to the work of the organization.
