Overview
The consultant will support WHO’s Acute Care Action Network (ACAN) and the Acute Care Transformation through Basic Emergency Care (ACT x BEC) initiative, focusing on strengthening reporting systems, digital platforms, coordination, and communication for integrated emergency, critical and operative care.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop draft reporting templates for ACT x BEC activities.
- Develop and maintain a web-based platform with dashboards for ACT x BEC coordination and reporting.
- Coordinate quarterly ACT x BEC steering committee, ACAN workgroup meetings, and ACAN chairs meetings.
- Support coordination of ACAN activities and HQ support to country ECO activities.
- Produce draft audio-visual and communication materials for ACT x BEC implementation.
- Provide technical coordination support for regional ECO activities.
- Provide technical inputs and coordination for the development of the Regional ECO roadmap.
Required Experience
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in public health.
- Experience in the management and implementation of projects.
- Experience in organizing events and engagement opportunities to improve health outcomes.
- International experience is required for international consultant.
Qualifications
• Advanced university degree (master’s level for high end of range) in the area of public health.
