Overview

Provide administrative and clerical support for psychological assessments and activities for children and adolescents. Assist in organizing programs and training sessions related to mental health and psychosocial support.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide admin and clerical support for psychological assessments and tests for children.
  • Assist in designing and conducting socio-relational, sports, play, creative, and arts-based activities for children and adolescents.
  • Participate in training family members on assisting their child.
  • Assist in coordination with other child health experts and staff.
  • Assist in organizing educational programs and training sessions for adolescents on high-risk behaviors.
  • Provide admin and clerical support for MHPSS services addressing depression, bullying, mental health issues, and learning difficulties.
  • Maintain files with documentation and records of assessments and treatments.
  • Assist in identifying and referring children needing specialized attention to a child psychiatrist.
  • Assist in reporting services provided in SYNC.
  • Assist in organizing capacity building activities for staff and volunteers on Children psychosocial support.
  • Promote and maintain confidentiality and privacy.
  • Help in continuous monitoring and evaluation of the programme.
  • Provide admin and clerical assistance to healthcare providers evaluating children's medical and physical condition.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
Required Experience
  • Three years of relevant professional experience from an accredited academic institution (with University or Bachelor’s Degree).
  • At least five years of relevant professional experience (with High school degree).
  • At least two years experience in MHPSS programming.
  • Proven work experience as a Child Psychologist or similar role.
  • Experience working with at-risk community members.
  • Experience in liaising with governmental and diplomatic authorities and stakeholders, working in international organizations, non-government or government institutions/organization.
Qualifications
  • University or Bachelor’s Degree in clinical psychology, counselling psychology, or any other relevant field.
  • High school degree.
