Overview

The role is responsible for managing and maintaining the NATO Lessons Learned Portal (NLLP) and the future NATO Lessons Learned Toolset (NLLT) to ensure they are fully operational and enhance the quality of work.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manages and maintains the NATO Lessons Learned Portal (NLLP) and the future NATO Lessons Learned Toolset (NLLT).
  • Maintains contact with and provides guidance/support to Local NLLP Managers (LNMs).
  • Monitors the use of the Lessons Learned Staffing Area and provides support.
  • Manages user’s access to NLLP and their associated accounts.
  • Manages the NLLP Library’s content and quality.
  • Transfers LL documents between NS WAN and NU WAN.
  • Updates the NLLP web-pages and dictionaries.
  • Provides SME support to NLLP users.
  • Coordinates with JALLC IT for technical support.
  • Advises on NLLP improvement requirements and contributes to implementation.
  • Contributes to NLLP development for user-friendliness.
  • Supports the creation of LL COI Area(s) in the NLLP.
  • Participates in relevant workshops/working groups.
  • Provides advice and training on NLLP use.
  • Provides SME advice for LL documents’ revision.
Required Experience
  • Higher Secondary education and completed higher vocational training leading to a formal technical or professional certification with 3 years function related experience, OR Secondary education and completed advanced vocational training leading to a professional qualification or professional accreditation with 5 years post related experience.
  • Two years of practical work experience in web based applications/databases.
  • Experience in improvement and promotion of web content.
  • Familiarity with computer applications data and processing.
  • Experience in defining, documenting and carrying out small projects.
Qualifications
  • Higher Secondary education and completed higher vocational training leading to a formal technical or professional certification.
  • Secondary education and completed advanced vocational training leading to a professional qualification or professional accreditation.
  • University Degree (desirable).
