Overview
The Project Coordinator – Pandemic Fund will coordinate, implement, and monitor activities under the Pandemic Fund portfolio for Sri Lanka. This role ensures effective execution, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and technical support for the successful implementation of grant funds.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day implementation of activities outlined in project workplans.
- Liaise closely with government counterparts and technical partners.
- Contribute to designing detailed action plans and facilitate monitoring of physical and financial progress.
- Collect and organize project data, preparing accurate and comprehensive reports and presentations.
- Facilitate multisectoral coordination, communication, and operational planning.
- Develop communication/ visibility products related to the projects.
- Coordinate the organization of events.
- Development of briefing notes and talking points for Senior Management.
Required Experience
- At least one (1) year of relevant experience in health project coordination and management.
- Experience in working with the Government Sector and or another UN/ International Organizations.
- Experience with multi-stakeholder coordination in the context of development cooperation.
Qualifications
- Essential: First university degree (bachelor’s degree) in the area of medicine/ health/ public health.
- Desirable: Advanced university degree (master’s degree or equivalent) in the area of health/ public health or a related area.
