Overview
The intern will learn about governance, rule of law, and human security, as well as business administration processes, organization of meetings, events, and stakeholder engagement within the UNDP Country Office.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in research and analysis, monitoring and tracking of developments in governance, rule of law and human security.
- Prepare briefings and concept notes.
- Support reporting and M&E, including notetaking, data collection and analysis, and archiving.
- Draft, edit, and fact-check reports.
- Assist in the development of infographics and drafting/publication of resource materials.
- Support engagement with key partners, including meetings and participation in external events.
- Engage in activities to support communication initiatives.
- Provide assistance to the organization of internal and external events.
- Support team integration and coordination.
- Assist in other related duties as required.
Qualifications
- Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum Bachelor’s level) in social sciences.
- Be enrolled in a Master degree programme.
- Have graduated with a university degree and, if selected, must start the internship within one-year of graduation.
- Be enrolled in a postgraduate professional traineeship program and undertake the internship as part of this program.
