Overview
Online Volunteer to support financial operations management for UNICEF Thailand, providing technical guidance and advisory support on financial functions, transaction review, quality assurance, and compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Support to financial planning and management
- Provide technical advice on Control of accounts
- Advise on Treasury and cash management
- Knowledge sharing and capacity building
- Reviewing outputs produced by the Finance team
- Supporting in ensuring compliance with International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS), UNICEF Financial Regulations and Rules, policies, procedures, accountability standards, and ethical requirements.
Required Experience
- A minimum of 15 years of professional experience in financial management or audit is required.
- 10 years of experience in managing partnerships and relationship for programme implementations.
- 10 years' experience in managing incomes from Fundraising activities.
- 10 years' experience in a UN system agency or organization.
- Solid experience in database packages, web based management systems and ERP systems(preferably SAP financial modules).
- Experience with IPSAS and/or IFRS
Qualifications
• Advance university degree in accounting, financial management or financial field is required.
