Overview

The consultant will provide analytical support and strategic insights on investment policies and de-risking approaches in selected sectors, particularly in the context of climate-related investment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research, data analysis and drafting on de-risking investment for the SDGs, including de-risking approaches, mechanisms and strategies in selected sectors.
  • Carry out research, data analysis and drafting on investment promotion in climate-relevant sectors, including issues related to the energy transition.
  • Assist in the preparation of World Investment Forum (WIF) events, including speaker identification and outreach, background research, and logistical, coordination and communication tasks.
  • Assist in the monitoring, review and entry of newly adopted investment policy measures in member States for entry into the Investment Policy Monitor database.
Required Experience

At least 1 year of working experience in research activities related to economic policies, company law or business operations is required. Experience in international investment is desirable. Experience working in an international organization is an advantage. Familiarity with climate change issues and the energy transition is also an advantage.

Qualifications

Advanced university degree, Master, in Economics or Public Policy is required.
