Overview
The Acquisition Data Analyst (Project Manager) role focuses on improving data output from the SCPT to ensure reliability for budget proposals and enhancing data cleansing and scrutiny for more efficient procurement and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities
- Performs SCPT data analysis and cleansing, producing reports on PIDs, demand forecasting, stock levels, historical data, and price alerts.
- Designs, implements, and reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for acquisition data management.
- Builds reports to audit data quality in SCPT and SRM, synchronized with the BPC budget.
- Develops continuous improvement plans and collaborates on SCPT data inputting processes.
- Implements and maintains an automated tracking and tracing report for Shopping Carts and Purchase Orders.
- Extracts, analyzes, and integrates data for reporting solutions.
- Develops and maintains visualizations tools for real-time business data insights.
- Prepares recommendations based on data analysis and root cause analysis.
- Provides project risk assessments and status reports to senior management.
- Develops detailed work plans, schedules, and project outcome forecasts.
- Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.
- Partners with HQ focal points on SCPT software issues and development.
- Facilitates acquisition data analysis projects, working with TUs to realize SCPT returns on investment.
- Liaises with sections on SCPT data quality and assists in preparing quarterly progress reports.
- Consolidates and analyzes mission data on budget, SCPT requirements, stock holdings, consumption, procurement cycle times, sourcing, and forecasts.
- Creates and maintains a system to track Mission Contracts and expenditures.
- Prepares integrated reports to monitor and track the mission supply chain.
- Develops and delivers statistical analysis and business intelligence reports.
Required Experience
- A minimum of eight (8) years of progressive and relevant experience in one or a combination of the following areas: acquisition and requisition planning, logistics, data analysis, IT, project management, property and asset management, or budgeting is required.
- Experience in data analysis and visualization using Power BI (Qlik or similar), Excel, Power query is required.
- Experience in using SAP or similar ERP software (ECC, SRM, BPC, SCPT, etc.) is required.
- Experience in carrying out data analyses, understanding statistical forecasting techniques and models to interpret the outcomes accurately is desirable.
- Experience of two (2) years in a UN peacekeeping mission is desirable.
Qualifications
Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, IT or related field is required. A first-level university degree in combination with two (2) additional years of qualifying work experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
