Key Responsibilities

In order to provide better services to its affiliates in response to the dramatically changing world of work on the one hand and to reach out and organise new groups of workers on the other, the KTUC intends to draft its constitution. The new KTUC constitution: 1) Shall articulate organisational functions and leadership structures, the roles and responsibilities of leadership positions, and relationships with extra organisations. 2) Shall help KTUC to adequately play a role as a workers’ national centre defending workers’ rights, representing workers’ interests, and participating in social dialogue and influencing its policy discussions and decisions, while aligning with trade unions abroad.
