Overview
Supports the development and implementation of communication and visibility activities for IOM Guinea, contributing to content production, digital communication, and public information efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the production, drafting, editing and dissemination of communication and visibility content.
- Assist in collecting communication materials from programme teams and field activities.
- Support the management and updating of IOM Guinea’s digital communication platforms.
- Assist in monitoring social media performance and audience engagement.
- Provide support for the preparation and visibility of events, campaigns, field visits, missions and official communications initiatives.
- Maintain organized files and archives of communication products.
- Support compliance with donor visibility requirements and IOM branding guidelines.
- Provide administrative support to the Communications Unit.
- Assist in liaising with relevant service providers, media representatives, photographers, videographers, designers and printers.
- Perform such other duties as may be assigned.
Required Experience
- Three (03) years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least five years of relevant professional experience, including administrative support in a communications setting, with a high school diploma.
- Experience in communication, public information, media support, digital communication, content production or a related field.
- Experience in drafting and editing communication materials for institutional or development-related activities.
- Experience in managing or supporting social media content and digital communication platforms.
- Experience in photography, videography, graphic design or multimedia content production is an advantage.
- Experience in supporting events, campaigns, field missions or visibility activities is an advantage.
- Experience working with international organizations, NGOs, media institutions or development partners is an asset.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- High school diploma.
