Overview

The Monitoring & Evaluation Officer will monitor local NGO partners, report on implementation, and evaluate the quality of work of partner organizations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor local NGO partners through quarterly coordination forums and monthly technical meetings.
  • Report on implementation and identify lessons learned.
  • Coordinate the screening of potential partner organizations and develop an NGO Indicator Framework.
  • Evaluate the quality of work of partner organizations using M&E tools, meetings, and telephone follow-ups.
  • Conduct Organizational Capacity Assessment of partner organizations.
  • Provide regular briefings on Project Cycle Management, monitoring and evaluation, and fund raising.
  • Collect and assess technical reports from the field.
  • Prepare monthly reports on NGOs' activities.
Required Experience
  • At least one year relevant experience in the area of partnership development and project management.
  • Experience in developing countries.
  • Desirable: Experience in UN organizations/agencies, International institutions or NGOs.
Qualifications
  • Essential: University degree in Social Sciences or related field.
  • Desirable: Master's degree in Social Sciences or Business Administration.

Remuneration
• Annual base salary starting at USD 34,827 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance, as applicable) and 30 days of annual leave.
