Overview
The Monitoring & Evaluation Officer will monitor local NGO partners, report on implementation, and evaluate the quality of work of partner organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor local NGO partners through quarterly coordination forums and monthly technical meetings.
- Report on implementation and identify lessons learned.
- Coordinate the screening of potential partner organizations and develop an NGO Indicator Framework.
- Evaluate the quality of work of partner organizations using M&E tools, meetings, and telephone follow-ups.
- Conduct Organizational Capacity Assessment of partner organizations.
- Provide regular briefings on Project Cycle Management, monitoring and evaluation, and fund raising.
- Collect and assess technical reports from the field.
- Prepare monthly reports on NGOs' activities.
Required Experience
- At least one year relevant experience in the area of partnership development and project management.
- Experience in developing countries.
- Desirable: Experience in UN organizations/agencies, International institutions or NGOs.
Qualifications
- Essential: University degree in Social Sciences or related field.
- Desirable: Master's degree in Social Sciences or Business Administration.
