Overview
Design, implement, and manage core infrastructure across data centres, networks, and cloud environments, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and integrate secure infrastructure solutions across network, cloud, and on-prem environments
- Manage and optimise systems including servers, storage, and data centre technologies
- Support and enhance security controls, risk analysis, and incident response
- Deliver system integration, testing, and performance improvements
- Monitor infrastructure performance, automate processes, and resolve complex issues
- Provide Level 3 support and contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives
Required Experience
- At least 2 years practical experience in the designing, implementing, and managing the underlying technology, software and hardware components that ensure the smooth functioning of servers, storage systems, data centers, and cloud services.
- Sound knowledge of TCP/IP based networks and related protocols.
- Experience in implementing and maintaining an enterprise network.
- Experience with the management of DNS/DHCP solutions, Remote Access VPNs, Secure Email Gateways, Web Proxies, Firewalls, Load Balancers, WAF and Intrusion Detection System Technologies.
- Experience in implementing and maintaining SASE Solutions.
- Excellent technical troubleshooting skills.
Qualifications
• A minimum requirement of a Bachelor’s degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline and 2 years related experience. Or exceptionally, the lack of a university degree may be compensated by the demonstration of a candidate’s particular abilities or experience that is/are of interest to NCI Agency, that is, at least 6 years extensive and progressive expertise in duties related to the function of the role.
