Overview
Undertake specialized analytical support for Integrity Due Diligence (IDD) activities in support of the Private Sector Operations Department's pipeline, portfolio and programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducts IDD and anti-money laundering (AML)/ combating the financing of terrorism (CFT) in support of PSOD deal teams.
- Reviews IDD checklists completed by consultants, deal teams, and third parties.
- Conducts primary research using open- and closed-source databases.
- Reviews research collected and/or analyzed by others.
- Identifies red flags and proposes ways to negate or mitigate potential risk.
- Ensures submission of signed checklists to OAI.
- Reviews OAI's assessment and follows up with any outstanding action.
- Ensures Annual Integrity Reviews are conducted in timely fashion.
- Sets up Google alerts for critical clients and notifies designated staff.
- Ensures all integrity-related emails, attachments and information are filed appropriately.
- Drafts disclosure language for project documents.
- Coordinates with OAI on processes and integrity-related concerns.
- Assists with integrity concerns as they arise.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Experience
- At least 5 years of work experience in law, banking, business management or comparable, preferably with at least four years applied experience working with the issues of money laundering, terrorist financing, tax avoidance, fraud or other comparable.
- Thorough knowledge of integrity due diligence /Know Your Customer processes.
- Familiarity with the Financial Action Task Force and Global Forum on Exchange of Information for Tax Purposes and Office of Foreign Assets Control's sanctions.
- Experience in multiple countries and/or with international/global organizations.
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of multilateral organizations' requirements, operations, policies and particularly with respect to anticorruption.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, mathematics or related fields, preferably with advanced training.
- Professional qualifications including certification in fraud and/or anti-money laundering and/or accredited coursework in investigations, anticorruption or governance is an advantage.
- Membership to professional organizations as Certified Public Accountant, Juris Doctor, or Internal Auditor is also an advantage.
