Overview
Provide technical support and coordination in identifying and processing ADB's private sector investment opportunities, with a focus on the health and education sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the identification, development, and processing of financing opportunities in health and education sectors.
- Undertake business development, due diligence, risk analysis, and mitigation for loans, equity investment, guarantees, or other financial assistance.
- Establish relationships with private sector operators in health and education sectors.
- Contribute to credit and financial due diligence, including developing financial models and assessing risk profiles.
- Review and analyze financial statements and projections, perform sensitivity analysis and stress testing.
- Participate in due diligence missions and provide recommendations.
- Undertake industry and country research for transaction risk assessment.
- Prepare Investment Committee and Board memoranda, project document summaries, and risk assessment analyses.
- Engage with the Office of Risk Management and Safeguards Specialists.
- Prepare presentation materials and maintain credit files.
- Contribute to the development of policy and strategies for ADB's developmental goals.
- Assist in developing a pipeline of private sector projects in health and education sectors.
- Collaborate with colleagues across sectors and departments.
- Serve as the focal for Indonesia and represent PSOD.
- Perform other assigned tasks.
Required Experience
- At least 8 years work experience, preferably in corporate finance, investment banking or private equity.
- Experience working on transactions in the health and/or education sectors.
- At least 4 years of supervisory experience.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, business administration or relevant fields preferably with Master's degree or equivalent.
