Overview

Supervise construction works related to the Specific Action “Greek Reception Capacity Enhancement (GreCE)” co-funded by the European Union. The role involves on-site monitoring and reporting on contractor activities.


Key Responsibilities
  • Daily monitor contractors’ on-site activities.
  • Track implementation timeline, vendors’ manpower schedules, works’ logbook, and material inspection/approval.
  • Provide technical advice to contractors.
  • Compile and submit weekly progress reports and ad-hoc reports.
  • Maintain photographic evidence and collect data on implementation progress.
  • Report urgent issues, challenges, or deviations and propose corrective measures.
  • Prepare and submit monthly timesheets.
  • Review and verify the completeness of the handover package.
  • Coordinate the handover procedure.
  • Confirm satisfactory completion of works and prepare a provisional works acceptance report.
Required Experience

Proven experience of at least 4 years in on-site construction works supervision as a Civil Engineer/Electrical/Mechanical Engineer/Architect, especially in residential type constructions. Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-government or government institutions/organizations in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage.

Qualifications

University Degree in Engineering.
