Overview
Supervise construction works related to the Specific Action “Greek Reception Capacity Enhancement (GreCE)” co-funded by the European Union. The role involves daily monitoring of contractors' on-site activities and reporting on implementation progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily monitor contractors’ on-site activities.
- Track implementation timeline, vendors’ manpower schedules, works’ logbook, and material inspection.
- Provide technical advice to contractors.
- Compile and submit weekly progress reports and ad-hoc reports.
- Maintain photographic evidence and collect data on implementation progress.
- Report urgent issues, challenges, or deviations and propose corrective measures.
- Prepare and submit monthly timesheets.
- Review and verify the completeness of the handover package.
- Coordinate the handover procedure.
- Confirm satisfactory completion of works and prepare a provisional works acceptance report.
- Undertake any other relevant tasks as may be assigned.
Required Experience
Proven experience of at least 4 years in on-site construction works supervision as a Civil Engineer/Electrical/Mechanical Engineer/Architect, especially in residential type constructions. Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-government or government institutions/organizations in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage.
Qualifications
University Degree in Engineering.
