Overview
Provide administrative and financial support for a project focused on improving occupational safety and health in the Sri Lankan plantation sector, including an emergency employment component.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain project financial records and monitoring systems.
- Check, review, process, and prepare financial documentation.
- Prepare correspondence to verify data and address queries.
- Review and request additional information on financial reports from implementing partners.
- Classify and assign budget codes, verify and process claims for payment.
- Provide administrative and financial backstopping support to project staff and consultants.
- Consult with Finance Unit on rules, regulations, and procedures.
- Prepare recurring reports and assist in preparing special reports.
- Calculate and compile cost estimates and participate in budget analysis and forecasts.
- Provide support in the preparation and running of project workshops and meetings.
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
Required Experience
At least five years of progressively responsible financial and administrative work.
Qualifications
Completion of secondary school education.
