Overview
This position is within the Human Resources Team in Libya Country Program, reporting to the HR Lead. The Recruiter will work on various positions ranging from mid-level to senior roles across IRC programs and operations in Libya.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to recruitment position requests and be well versed in IRC Global HR Recruitment Policies.
- Implement full-cycle recruitment process; advertise and post vacancies, long-list CV’s, schedule interviews and tests, and maintain candidate employment applications.
- Collaborate with HR Lead to provide weekly updates on candidate pool and roster for staffing needs.
- Maintain all documentation pertaining to Recruitment, including tracking weekly recruitment metrics.
- Coordinate with all Offices on sending documentation on a regular basis.
- Conduct ATC check, reference check and Security check for all candidates.
- Follow IRC Global HR Operating Policies and Procedures (GHROPP) in Recruitment and maintain compliance with all Libyan labor laws.
- Ensure candidates receive rejection emails if not suitable.
- Send Job offers and follow up with candidates on job offer acceptance.
- Share onboarding emails with HR lead/HR Manager based in Tripoli and HR team.
- Maintain Recruitment Tracking sheet, to be updated and shared on a weekly basis with the HR lead.
- Provide advice to hiring managers for transparent and efficient recruitment processes.
- Develop a deep understanding of the IRC’s culture and values and align these with sourcing and attracting talent.
- Perform other recruitment responsibilities as assigned.
Required Experience
- 3-5 years of experience with recruitment/talent acquisition required.
- Experience in an international NGO context desired.
- Demonstrated experience and ability to create, implement, maintain and improve recruitment strategies and systems in a high-volume context.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Human Resources or related field or equivalent professional experience.
