Overview

The National Travel and Administration Specialist will perform travel support and administrative processing functions, ensuring quality, transparency, and consistency of data, processes, and services within their area of responsibility.


Key Responsibilities
  • Finalize the quarterly travel plan;
  • Coordinate with travel agents for economical routes;
  • Review travel authorizations and issue tickets;
  • Review travel expense claims and verify against entitlement;
  • Coordinate refunds of travel costs;
  • Review and finalize lump sum payments and post-factum claims;
  • Provide guidance on travel rules and procedures;
  • Ensure timely settlement of travel agents;
  • Manage queries on travel-related payments/recoveries/entitlements;
  • Verify correctness of traveler records in corporate systems;
  • Review daily rejections/returns relating to travel payments;
  • Review and reconcile recoveries;
  • Assist Finance in clearing consultants’ honoraria payments;
  • Perform other duties as required.
Required Experience

• Three years of relevant experience in travel coordination, administration, logistics management or a related role

Qualifications

• University degree from an institution recognized by the International Association of Universities (IAU)/UNESCO in business administration, hospitality, tourism management, or a related field
