Overview

Develop a nationwide first aid training program by aligning 12 learning modules with Sri Lanka's national first aid guidelines, including a standardized guide for trainers and an assessment package.


Key Responsibilities
  • Desk review and inception report submission.
  • Curriculum design and module structure confirmation.
  • Development of 12 module packages, each including overview, learning outcomes, session plan, technical content, practical exercises, scenarios, pre- and post-tests, and evaluation forms.
  • Development of a detailed trainer guide.
  • Quality assurance of all materials.
  • Technical support and facilitation of Training of Trainers (ToT) sessions.
  • Submission of ToT reports with recommendations for roll-out.
  • Regular progress updates and presentations.
Required Experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in developing curricula or training modules.
  • Prior working experience with the Ministry of Health will be considered as an added advantage.
Qualifications
  • PHD - Public Health, Obstetrics, Child Health
  • Medical degree with postgraduate qualifications in clinical medicine (adult or paediatrics), emergency medicine, intensive care and anaesthesiology, or a related field.
