Overview
To facilitate and implement Technical Programmes using the WVIC development programme approach to enhance community participation, ownership and sustainability of projects for the wellbeing of children, families and communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and assess potential partners (CBO, Private sector, CSO) and work together to improve CWB.
- Facilitate local partners to develop a shared project for CWB.
- Support local level partners to identify needs and their underlying causes, and recognize local assets and resources.
- Assess capacity gaps of partners and provide capacity building, ongoing coaching, mentoring.
- Implement the technical project log-frame within the agreed design and budget.
- Identify and mitigate risks/issues to ensure quality implementation of technical project models.
- Lead reflection and learning of technical project models implementation.
- Analyze the MVC and RC as per criteria and include them in TP project model.
- Coordinate to document and share experiences and lessons learnt.
- Build capacity of partners in collaboration with technical teams.
- Organize and archive data according to monitoring standards.
- Suggest recommendations using evidence and develop action plans.
- Develop and update annual, semi-annual and monthly budget and detail implementation plan.
- Represent WVI-C at District/Commune department offices.
- Initiate and advocate with commune and district level for integration of project activities into local government plan.
- Undergo technical training programmes and meet post-training requirements.
- Engage in personal learning and development, openness for spiritual learning and contribute to the development of colleagues.
- Contribute to ongoing reflection and learning within the team.
- Uphold WVIC vision, mission, identity, and core value.
Required Experience
- 2 years’ experience in the technical area of Public Health, Nutrition, WASH, Maternal and Child health.
- At least 2 years of experience working with education programming (e.g. literacy, early childhood education, teacher training, etc.).
- At least 2 years of experience working with Children Adolescent and Youth programmes, including programme design, implementation and monitoring; staff.
- Experience building and maintaining relationships with local government and NGO partners and stakeholders.
- Experience in handling training and workshops for groups and communities (including coaching and mentoring).
- Experience in mobilizing resources and people to be ownership on children development.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree – education, social development studies and related field of study (Secondary Nurse, Midwifery, Medical Assistant).
