Overview
The Community Mobilizer will be responsible for community engagement, mobilization, and beneficiary registration in assigned target locations. The role involves representing the organization professionally and acting in accordance with the Code of Conduct.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct beneficiary mobilization in all target villages.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to being accountable to beneficiaries.
- Sensitize beneficiaries on cash value entitlement, duration, and how/where assistance will be received.
- Collate data, contribute to report preparation, and provide information for decision-making.
- Assist protection risk survivors and advise via existing referral pathways.
- Disseminate project visibilities and establish Complaint & Response Mechanisms.
- Support community awareness raising activities.
- Prepare and submit monthly reports and regular/activity/site visit reports.
- Undertake Beneficiaries data record in excel sheets and manuals.
- Perform other functions as requested by the immediate supervisor.
Required Experience
- Minimum of One year of previous experience in Community engagement Mobilizer.
- Experience working in Abudwak, Herale & Balanbal Somalia.
- Previous work experience on social work, community mobilization, and community engagement.
Qualifications
• University graduate in Social Science.
