Overview
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of project implementation, ensuring project achievements align with the Detailed Implementation Plan, and providing administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
- Develops and updates the Detailed Implementation Plan (DIP) and monitors its implementation.
- Manages consultants and stakeholders to ensure delivery of quality outputs.
- Leads financial management, including budget planning and expenditure, and ensures accuracy of financial reports.
- Identifies project risks and develops mitigation strategies.
- Establishes and maintains good partnerships with stakeholders, government, and private sector entities.
- Acts as the focal person for communication with local partners and governments.
- Coordinates with MER Specialist to manage and monitor project implementation using agreed tools.
- Supervises the development of knowledge products from the project.
- Ensures Plan International's global policies for Safeguarding Children and Young People and Gender Equality and Inclusion are embedded in project design and implementation.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, including budget management, monitoring, evaluation, and quality project reporting.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in coordination with Government agencies/offices, Health, and ECD sectors.
Qualifications
• Undergraduate degree in education, health, social fields or other related fields in health, ECD, and gender equality.
