Overview

The role involves leading knowledge management activities for the Unit's funds and facilities, focusing on financial innovation and impact investment for nature. The purpose is to identify key trends and produce high-quality knowledge products for internal and external audiences.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on knowledge management activities across the Unit’s funds and facilities, particularly the Restoration Seed Capital Facility.
  • Analyse and synthesise key topics emerging in the work of the unit, its partners, and external stakeholders.
  • Produce knowledge products of high quality and relevance.
  • Lead on the production of a variety of knowledge products including articles, blogs, social media posts, webinars, and in-person events.
  • Develop and implement annual knowledge management plans for the funds and facilities of the Unit.
  • Ensure alignment with other knowledge management and communications priorities of the Unit and the organisation.
  • Manage the communications and media engagement duties related to the Unit’s funds and facilities.
  • Actively monitor and report on the success of knowledge management efforts.
Required Experience

At least five (5) years working experience in knowledge management and/or communications ideally related to agriculture, forestry, land use finance, sustainable finance, or related topics is required.

Qualifications

An advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent) is required in economics and/or finance, environmental studies, business, or development studies. A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.

Fluency in oral and written English is required.
Languages Preferred
Proactivity and ability to work independently in a dynamic environment is desirable. Familiarity and enthusiasm to learn more about the specific challenges of impact investing and nature-based solutions is desirable.
