Overview

Internship opportunity within the Psychological Support Unit of the Victims and Witnesses Section to support research, drafting, and administrative tasks related to the Court's work.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct background research on various matters.
  • Assist in drafting reports and analyses.
  • Assist in the implementation of the witness feedback project.
  • Draft minutes of meetings.
  • Assist with informal translation of documents.
  • Conduct general administration tasks.
  • Perform any other entrusted tasks.
Required Experience

Applicants must have less than three years of relevant full-time professional experience. Relevant work experience or academic research in relation to handling victims of armed conflict, especially victims of sexual violence or former child soldiers, would be an asset. Experience in working with vulnerable persons is considered an asset.

Qualifications

All candidates must have a university degree or be in the final stages of their studies in clinical or forensic psychology or related field.

Other Details
Languages Required
Proficiency in one of the working languages of the Court, French or English, is required.
Languages Preferred
Working knowledge of the other working language (French or English) is highly desirable.
Contract Duration
6 months
Work Modality
The internship will take place entirely in the HQ.
Remuneration
Internship placements at the ICC are unfunded. The ICC is not able to provide participants with any remuneration, nor is it possible to provide reimbursement for expenses incurred prior, during or after the internship.
