Overview
Support UN-Habitat Lao PDR by translating project deliverables and communication materials from English into Lao.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate one document from English into Lao, averaging approximately 50 pages in total.
- Ensure that translations are clear, concise, and audience-appropriate.
- Maintain consistency with UN-Habitat’s communication guidelines, terminology, and style.
- Review translated document for accuracy and correct terminology.
Required Experience
- Candidates should be native in Laotian and fluent in English.
- Familiarity with technical terms related to urbanisation, climate change, and/or basic services will be considered an advantage.
- Previous translation experience is considered an asset.
