Overview
The Nurse will provide essential nursing care services, including assessing patients’ conditions, supporting medical consultations, and ensuring high-quality patient care at IRC’s Primary Health Care Clinic in Zaatari Camp.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessing the conditions of the patient, initiating medical attention and performing the role of registered nurse
- Aiding physician as required during treatment and examination
- Updating patients' registration books and other related appointment information
- Maintaining and reviewing patient records, charts and other pertinent information relating to HIS
- Performing other related duties within the clinic as may be assigned
- Preparing and facilitating regular health education sessions for patients at the clinics in coordination with the clinic staff
- Participate in continuous quality improvement activities and training sessions
- Apply relevant clinical protocols and support response during any outbreak or emergency situations
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding patient records and imaging results
- Adhere to IRC policies and procedures and contribute to a respectful, professional clinical environment
- Ensure the nurse is trained and responsible for delivering vaccines safely and effectively according to MOH/WHO policies and protocols
Required Experience
Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a registered nurse in a clinical or hospital setting
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in nursing. Valid certification and license to practice nursing work in Jordan. Valid nursing license from the Jordanian Ministry of Health.
