Overview
Invitation for bids for the Supply of Medical Equipment for Emergency Medical Service under the Improving Access to Health Services for Disadvantaged Groups Investment Program - Tranche 1.
Required Experience
- Successful completion as main supplier within the last three (3) years, of at least three (3) contracts each valued at USD 1,200,000 with nature, and complexity similar to the scope of supply of medical equipment.
- Goods offered have been in production for at least 3 years.
- Goods offered have been sold a minimum of 3 units of similar type and specification over the last three (3) years (2023, 2024, 2025).
- Goods offered have been in operation for a minimum of three (3) years (2023, 2024, 2025).
- Minimum average annual turnover of USD 3,000,000 calculated as total payments received by the Bidder for contracts completed or under execution over the last three (3) years (2023, 2024, 2025).
- Availability of or access to liquid assets, lines of credit, and other finances sufficient to meet cash flow requirement which is USD 500,000.
- Minimum of five (5) well-trained Biomedical Engineers who have completed training in the maintenance, operation, and technical servicing of Intensive Care and Emergency Medical Equipment.
- Each engineer must have at least five (5) years of relevant professional experience in the field of Biomedical Equipment, with a particular focus on Intensive Care and Emergency Medical Equipment.
Qualifications
• All engineers shall hold, at a minimum, a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical and Electronics Engineering or an equivalent or higher qualification.
