Overview
Support the delivery of informal conflict resolution and lead initiatives to build conflict competence across the ADB community.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide informal conflict resolution services including option discussion, conflict coaching, shuttle diplomacy, team processes and mediation.
- Advise staff of available resources and formal avenues to resolve concerns.
- Identify workplace trends and patterns for feedback to Management.
- Develop and conduct skill-building activities to strengthen conflict competence.
- Contribute to the Office's outreach and communications plan.
- Engage with stakeholders and represent OOMP.
- Lead the preparation of the Office's annual report.
- Stay current in latest practices in informal dispute resolution.
- Contribute to ad-hoc projects and activities.
Required Experience
- At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in dispute resolution including international work experience in international organizations across several countries.
- Experience dealing with different workplace disputes through informal means.
- Experience designing processes for and facilitate group processes.
- Experience designing and conducting skill-building activities and workshops on conflict resolution topics.
Qualifications
Master's degree, or equivalent, preferably in social sciences, law, public administration, dispute resolution or related fields; or a University degree in social sciences, law, public administration, dispute resolution or related fields, and at least 5 years specialized experience relevant to the position.
