Overview
Provide technical support and coordination in the processing of ADB's private sector investments, with a specific focus on the health and education sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate the identification, development, and processing of financing opportunities in health and education sectors.
- Undertake business development, due diligence, risk analysis, and mitigation work.
- Structure and negotiate loans, equity investments, guarantees, or other financial assistance.
- Contribute to credit and financial due diligence by developing financial models and assessing investment risk.
- Review and analyze financial statements and projections, performing sensitivity analysis and stress testing.
- Participate in due diligence missions and provide technical support.
- Undertake industry and country research for transaction risk assessment.
- Prepare Investment Committee and Board memoranda, project document summaries, and risk assessment analyses.
- Engage with the Office of Risk Management and Safeguards Specialists.
- Prepare presentation materials.
- Maintain credit files for transactions under processing.
- Contribute to the development of policy and strategies for ADB's developmental goals.
- Assist in developing a pipeline of private sector projects in health and education sectors.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Required Experience
At least 8 years of work experience, preferably in corporate finance, investment banking or private equity, working on transactions in the health and/or education sectors.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, business administration or relevant fields; preferably with advance training.
