Overview
The Transaction Support Officer will undertake operational and administrative functions for Corporate Governance Due Diligence (CGDD) activities within the Private Sector Operations Department, supporting pipeline, portfolio, and programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee engagement and coordination with PSOD deal teams for corporate governance due diligence.
- Conduct and lead in-depth corporate governance due diligence exercises and assessments.
- Draft action plans and recommendations based on due diligence findings.
- Draft terms of reference and oversee selection/evaluation of third-party governance specialists.
- Direct, supervise, and evaluate work plans and outputs of third-party governance specialists.
- Lead the preparation of template corporate governance policies and documentation.
- Contribute to the formulation and updates of PSOD policies, processes, protocols, and procedures.
- Oversee and support the development of knowledge products.
- Work closely with other workstreams and PSOD deal teams on corporate governance-related inputs.
Required Experience
- At least 8 years of relevant professional experience.
- Demonstrated experience working on private sector transactions across several industry sectors.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in law, finance, accounting, business administration, or related fields, preferably with advanced training.
