Overview
The role ensures that the right people and devices have appropriate access to resources, securing organizational data and enhancing operational efficiency. It acts as a gatekeeper for digital identities within the UNICEF Rome Common Services Center.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating, managing, and disabling user accounts and device access.
- Supporting user workspace settings.
- Defining, implementing, and enforcing access policies and role-based access controls.
- Performing regular maintenance and updates on ICT equipment.
- Implementing and managing secure authentication methods.
- Monitoring user and device activity for security incidents.
- Conducting regular access reviews and generating compliance reports.
- Supporting ICT Asset inventory tracking.
- Investigating and resolving identity-related security incidents.
- Troubleshooting access issues.
- Handling service calls and escalations.
Required Experience
- A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in IT Support or IT Customer Service and related enterprise systems environment is required.
- Experience in assisting users on IT/ Business products and services and use of applications and diagnostic tools is required.
- Experience and proficiency with ID management system like Microsoft Entra system and Admin tools including PowerShell is required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft suite such as MS365, MS Sharepoint, MS Teams, MS Copilot etc. is an asset.
- Knowledge of UNICEF’s Ticketing system (ServiceNow) is an asset.
- Work experience at a Shared Services Center is an asset.
- Knowledge of UN/UNICEF'S rules, regulations and procedures are considered as assets.
- Experience in managing and maintaining cloud services such as Infrastructure, Platform, etc. as a Service is an asset.
Qualifications
- Completion of secondary education is required.
- Professional and/or university/professional courses related to System Engineering, Computer Science, Programming or equivalent specialized training is an asset.
- ITIL Foundation Certificate or equivalent customer support certification is an asset.
