Overview

The Knowledge Management Analyst will support the continuous relevance, functionality, visibility, and strategic use of the Climate Change Information and Knowledge Management Portal (CCIKMP) as the central national digital platform for climate information, coordination, and decision support in the Republic of Moldova.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support systematic and continuous updating of all sections of the CCIKMP.
  • Develop, structure, and continuously maintain up-to-date information/policy briefs on national and sectoral climate change adaptation and mitigation measures.
  • Develop and publish new analytical and explanatory texts, thematic summaries, and user-friendly descriptions of national climate change strategies, policies, and reforms.
  • Support the continuous updating and accurate maintenance of the climate finance section.
  • Ensure full consistency, accuracy, and alignment of all content published in Romanian and English.
  • Coordinate closely with relevant data-holding institutions to obtain updated climate-related datasets.
  • Support the development of high-quality, policy-relevant, and user-friendly knowledge products.
  • Transform technical reports and project outputs into user-friendly formats.
  • Support publication and regular update of sectoral climate change adaptation and mitigation guidance materials.
  • Support the promotion and increased visibility of the Portal.
  • Facilitate the Portal use by national stakeholders by systematically collecting and analyzing user feedback.
  • Support the design and delivery of training sessions on the use of the Portal.
  • Promote the timely publication of National Climate Change Committee (NCCC) decisions, policy briefs, and coordination documents on the Portal.
  • Provide continuous support to the NCCC Secretariat in effectively using the Portal.
  • Assist in structuring and organizing materials resulting from stakeholder consultations, policy dialogues, and technical working group meetings.
  • Ensure continuous quality control of all content published on the Portal.
  • Ensure ongoing alignment between the content published on the Portal and the GCF Readiness Project Outputs, national climate reporting processes, and the Republic of Moldova’s EU integration commitments.
  • Actively engage key national stakeholders to collect, validate, and update information.
Required Experience
  • Applicants with a Bachelor’s degree are required to have a minimum of two (2) years of documented professional experience in collecting, structuring, and managing datasets and information from multiple institutional sources, ensuring data quality, consistency, and reliability for use in digital platforms and knowledge systems.
  • Proven experience in managing data repositories and archives, including integrating, processing, and transforming data into user-friendly formats, and visualizing and disseminating it through web-based platforms.
  • Experience in coordinating data collection and updating processes with stakeholders, including public authorities, technical institutions, and project partners, to ensure timely and accurate data flows.
  • Demonstrated experience in applying data governance principles, including data lifecycle management, access control, data protection, etc.
  • Experience in supporting reporting processes through data compilation, analysis, and synthesis (e.g., for national or international reporting frameworks).
  • Experience working with public institutions, international organizations, or donor-funded projects.
Qualifications
  • Advanced university degree (Master’s Degree) in ICT, Computer Sciences, Statistics, Public Administration, Economy, Communication or another relevant field; OR
  • A first-level university degree (Bachelor’s Degree) in the areas mentioned above in combination with an additional two years of qualifying experience.

Working knowledge of Bulgarian, Gagauzian, Romani, Russian, Ukrainian and/or sign language is an asset
