Overview
Provide technical and operational support for the implementation of nutrition activities through planning, advocacy, systems strengthening, and monitoring and evaluation, mainly at the subnational level.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical implementation support and performance monitoring for PhilHealth SAM Outpatient Therapeutic Care (OTC) package.
- Support UNICEF staff in fulfilling its role as Nutrition Cluster co-lead.
- Provide technical assistance in the conduct of MIYCF trainings.
- Provide technical assistance in the conduct of Nutrition Leadership and Governance-Nutrition Program Management trainings.
- Provide technical assistance to regional offices in tracking nutrition commodities.
Required Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in planning, implementing, and providing technical support for nutrition programs at the subnational level.
- Demonstrated expertise in subnational health and nutrition program implementation, with strong skills in planning, executing, and monitoring interventions.
- Experienced in coordinating with key government agencies, including DOH, NNC, and PhilHealth, as well as LGUs and health facilities.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Allied Health, Development Studies, Social Science, or other relevant fields.
