Overview
Provides support with coordination and management of projects and activities related to the Culture sector, including monitoring and evaluation in relation to the 2030 Agenda.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of the UNESCO cultural programme of work.
- Support in ensuring timely, efficient and effective management of the project and the implementation of planned activities.
- Facilitate effective communication and ensure the visibility of project/activity results and impact.
- Prepare public information products such as news items, social media posts, infographics, audiovisual and other outreach materials.
- Draft correspondence, prepare presentations, speeches, web releases, and other outreach and communication materials.
- Speak and/or actively participate in national and international conferences, workshops or other events related to the project.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in international cultural cooperation, including experience on multi-partner project implementation and/or management.
- First-level University degree (BA), combined with minimum of 4 years of experience relevant to the position.
Qualifications
Advanced University degree (Masters, or equivalent, or higher) in cultural studies, media studies, management, international relations, communication, or in related fields of social and human sciences.
