Overview
The People & Culture Assistant manages complex administrative and transactional tasks for Human Resources functions, ensuring accurate and timely delivery in compliance with UN and UNICEF rules and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Process HR, recruitment, and payroll transactions accurately and in compliance with policies.
- Monitor and verify data for accuracy, quality, and confidentiality.
- Ensure timely and error-free processing and financial integrity.
- Contribute to updating knowledge articles, SOPs, and working documentation.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, streamline, and standardize processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and participate in testing for system changes.
Required Experience
- Five years of related experience in administration.
- Three (3) years of experience may be substituted for candidates holding a related Bachelor’s degree.
- An additional two (2) years of experience may be substituted for candidates holding a related Master’s degree.
- Experience in recruitment administration or talent management support is desirable.
- Previous hands-on experience in planning, organizing, and delivering general human resources, onboarding, benefits & entitlements, payroll, and/or offboarding support services, preferably in service shared centers, is highly desirable.
Qualifications
• Completion of secondary education, preferably supplemented by technical or university courses related to the field of work.
