Overview

Develop a comprehensive resource mobilization strategy for the UN Human Rights Regional Office for West Africa to strengthen partnerships and attract funding for human rights priorities in the region.


Key Responsibilities
  • - Review existing donor engagement frameworks, strategic plans, and funding trends relevant to human rights programming in West Africa.
  • Support the mapping of key bilateral and multilateral donors, development banks, and philanthropic institutions.
  • Assist in drafting the structure and content of the resource mobilization strategy.
  • Contribute to the preparation of donor profiles and partnership briefs.
Required Experience
  • At least 5 years of experience mobilizing resources from ODA and non-ODA sources for human rights or development programmes.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills.
  • Familiarity with human rights and governance programming.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications

A degree in international development, public policy, political science, or related field is considered an asset.
