Overview
Develop a comprehensive resource mobilization strategy for the UN Human Rights Regional Office for West Africa to strengthen partnerships and attract funding for human rights priorities in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- - Review existing donor engagement frameworks, strategic plans, and funding trends relevant to human rights programming in West Africa.
- Support the mapping of key bilateral and multilateral donors, development banks, and philanthropic institutions.
- Assist in drafting the structure and content of the resource mobilization strategy.
- Contribute to the preparation of donor profiles and partnership briefs.
Required Experience
- At least 5 years of experience mobilizing resources from ODA and non-ODA sources for human rights or development programmes.
- Strong analytical and writing skills.
- Familiarity with human rights and governance programming.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
A degree in international development, public policy, political science, or related field is considered an asset.
