Overview

This internship focuses on supporting supply chain operations, including procurement, warehousing, distribution, and asset management.


Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and check invoices from suppliers, forwarding payment requests to the Supply Chain Officer.
  • Monitor procurement processes and maintain paper procurement files.
  • Track expiring contracts and FWA, alerting the line manager.
  • Report on paid and non-paid purchase orders.
  • Collaborate on warehouse activities, including inventory management and stock counts.
  • Oversee distribution and transportation of goods.
  • Record and track asset movements and assist in physical verification.
  • Label assets and manage physical asset inventory control.
Required Experience
  • 1-2 years of prior work experience in a similar role in an NGO or private commercial sector.
  • Experience of solving complex issues through analysis, definition of a clear way forward and ensuring buy in.
  • Highly developed cultural awareness and ability to work well in an international environment with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
Qualifications

A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics or Procurement.
