Long-Term Agreement (LTA) for Engagement of Individual Consultants as Rebuttal Reviewers, Division of People and Culture, UNICEF

Overview

Contracting an individual consultant to review performance rebuttal requests to ensure neutrality, objectivity, and efficiency. The consultant will review cases, conduct interviews, and prepare reports with findings and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and assess rebuttal requests.
• Review relevant documents and collect further information/documentation.
• Conduct interviews with staff members, supervisors, and other relevant parties.
• Prepare rebuttal reports with findings and recommendations.
• Advise on observations made on performance management-related practices or other concerns.
• Suggest changes/adjustments to UNICEF policy/process.
• Support DPC in preparing other reports and documenting good practices and lessons learned.
• Provide support to reviewing informal cases.

Required Experience

A minimum of three years of extensive experience handling sensitive and confidential matters in people management, including case management, performance management, rebuttals, and performance improvement plans.

Qualifications

Master's degree or equivalent (Advanced degree) in People and Culture Management (or Human Resources Management), Psychology, Business Administration, Law, Public Administration, or a relevant social sciences field. A first university degree and additional 5 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of an advanced degree.
