Overview
Support the investment team in the supervision and management of IFC’s investment portfolio within the Financial Institution Group for the LAC Region.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the Reporting Requirements Tracker (RRT) system and collect insurance policies from portfolio clients.
- Track and enforce quarterly completion status of Investment Rating Platform (IRP) actions, Credit Watch List (CWL), and equity valuations and collateral monitoring.
- Prepare data and materials for quarterly portfolio review meetings.
- Support the pipeline team in reporting and managing invitations for Investment Review Meetings.
- Support investment teams in Supervision Integrity Due Diligence.
- Provide procedural, administrative, and analytical support for nominee director appointments and track IFC participation in shareholder meetings.
- Track and cancel committed but unutilized amounts, close dormant/inactive projects, and enforce development outcomes and reach data submissions.
- Track environmental & social performance of portfolio clients and follow up with investment teams.
- Monitor and support the collection of bills and fees related to portfolio activities and clients.
- Ensure correct filing of all relevant documents when a project is transferred.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in finance, banking, or portfolio management in a major financial institution.
- Prior exposure to IFC’s portfolio systems is a plus, as well as on directorship appointments, social & environmental requirements for financial institutions, and credit ratings for financial institutions.
- Prior experience in interacting with mid-level technical/managerial counterparts at financial institutions or medium/larger-sized companies.
- Demonstrated experience in extracting portfolio and client data from internal corporate databases.
