Overview
The Consultant Reports/Advocacy Officer will ensure excellence in corporate reporting and country communications, coordinate inputs for UNSDCF Results Groups, and systematize evidence use for policy influence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the annual ACR drafting process, including timeline, templates, and review cycles.
- Produce and keep current a Country Brief Pack, including thematic briefs and donor one pagers.
- Draft and consolidate inputs to Results Groups, ensuring alignment to UNSDCF outcomes.
- Map existing analytic products and design a taxonomy for an evidence library.
- Develop an annual policy output plan and convert evidence into policy notes.
- Lead the narrative package for major budget revisions and contribute to donor reports.
- Oversee the work of the comms associate and establish an advocacy and communications plan.
- Establish an editorial style guide and run a light editorial board.
Required Experience
5 years or more of postgraduate professional experience in a relevant field of work, with a background and interest in international humanitarian development.
Qualifications
Advanced University degree in Political Science, Economics, Statistics, Information Management or Journalism, Communications, Business Management, Social Sciences or other relevant field, or First University degree with additional years of related work experience and/or training/courses.
