Overview
Consultancy to describe technical and conceptual aspects of Indigenous food systems, train stakeholders in the use of the Indigenous Food Systems Matrix, participate in assessments, and contribute to local intersectoral action plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a work plan including methodology, activity timeline, and field visit plan.
- Submit technical guidance documents on the Matrix, including its structure, references, indicators, and training guidance.
- Prepare descriptive reports on training workshops and matrix application in three territories.
- Prepare descriptive reports on participation in the development of intersectoral action plans in three territories.
Required Experience
- Experience in facilitating workshops, participatory processes, and conducting fieldwork in Indigenous territories.
- Previous participation in Phase I of the Indigenous Food Systems Project will be considered an asset.
Qualifications
• Master’s or PhD degree, completed or in progress, in fields related to the intersection of public health, environment, and Indigenous food systems.
